     Wang Xianfu教授，博士生导师，加拿大西蒙菲莎大学博士，加拿大哥伦比亚大学博士后。主要从事算子理论、最优化方法、单调算子等领域的研究工作。在《Mathematical Programming》、《SIAM Journal of Optimization》、《SIAM Journal of Control and Optimization》、《Numerical Algorithms》、《Transactions of The Americal Mathematical Society》等国际重要期刊上发表SCI收录论文56篇。

七、     摘要：

Moreau envelopes are important in optimization. We consider generalized quadratic functions, Moreau envelopes, and the epigraphical limit of a sequence of quadratic functions and categorize the results. We explore the question of when a quadratic function is a Moreau envelope of a generalized quadratic; characterizations involving nonexpansiveness and Lipschitz continuity are established. Maximal monotone linear relations provide a unified framework for quadratic functions and generalized quadratic functions.
